And in thinking about these things, you have probably given some consideration about the lifestyle that will go along with your dream job. 

What kind of car will you drive?  a sportscar? an SUV to hold all your kids?
Will you have a house with a big yard? Will you live in the city or in the mountains?

It's fun to dream about these things, but if you are not careful with your money, your dreams may not come true!

     Now that you have a pretty good idea about your dream job, you are going to use real data to create a personal budget based on the current starting salary of your chosen profession. You will find a car and a house that suits your needs and fits into your budget. During this Webquest you will make financial decisions using the Internet, create a balanced personal budget, consult with an adult, and write a report detailing how you made your decisions throughout the project. While this Webquest will involve making calculations and thinking critically, its main purpose is to allow you to have fun dreaming of the future while realizing what those dreams may cost!
